New Bosch QUICK FIT sensors & diagnostic tool TPA 300
Function of tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
Since 2014, all new vehicles within the EU must be equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (direct/indirect). TPMS help to avoid the following dangers.
1. Danger due to unnoticed pressure loss
Continuous monitoring of the tyre pressure prevents unnoticed pressure deviations from occurring. This has a positive influence on road safety.
2. Risk of increased fuel consumption and tyre wear.
Adherence to the recommended tyre pressure ensures optimized fuel consumption and up to 25% less tyre wear.*
Hoppe et al., Reifendruckkontrollsysteme (Süddeutscher Verlag, 2013, p. 8.)
3. Risk of avoidable additional costs
TPMS help to continuously keep an eye on the optimum tyre pressure. This saves costs that would arise from premature tyre wear and/or higher fuel consumption due to incorrect tyre pressure.
TPMS programming tool TPA 300
The Bosch TPA 300 programming tool has been specially developed for configuring TPMS sensors.
1. Support of a wide range of sensors for the TPMS
With the vehicle specific configuration, the tool supports most universal sensors available in the market. Thanks to this feature more than 90% of the OE sensors can be replaced.
2. Compact and easy to use programming tool
The simple and quick operation of the programming tool allows fast and easy vehicle identification, sensor programming and vehicle relearning procedures. The TPMS data is shown on the 2.8” display.
3. Software updates
Regular updates of functions, vehicles and sensor coverage keep workshops in the position to serve their customers best. Three years software updates are included.
